Driven by an intense fervor for the moving image and an addiction to artistic collaboration, I am dedicated to bringing both an eclectic style and a high standard of professionalism to every project. Whether it be music video, drama or corporate documentary, I pride myself on consistantly pushing the boundaries of the visual storyteller through both my cinematography and dramatic direction.
Having graduated with an Honours BFA from York University in Film & Video Production, and having grown up surrounded by the Toronto fashion industry, I try to bring the discipline and patience associated with shooting with celluoid to a world dominated by fast-paced video production. I have been fortunate enough to work as the cinematographer for a large number of Canadian directors, always with a long-lasting relationship as my goal, and my work has circulated throughout the international festival circuit.
Most recently, I have amassed credits shooting with Jacob Moon, Zebra Studios (Toronto), AMD Graphics Products, Crimes in Paris, Shoot the Image, Alexander Quail, The Brilliance, Broadway Sleep, Hark the Herons, Olaf Blomerus, The Ontario Ministry of Finance, The Toronto District School Board and nearly 30 short or feature-lengh dramatic and documentary works, with production credits in both Canada and the USA.
